Wildwood is a modern, stylish restaurant with an upmarket atmosphere and reasonable prices. In a large, spacious seating area, you can enjoy food from an extensive menu, with a view of both the kitchen and the busy streets of Nottingham city centre.
Although a national chain of restaurants, Wildwood is new and unique, with a bar inside of the restaurant area, and a brick oven for cooking pizzas. The menu is primarily Italian, with so much to choose from! A great range of good-quality choices is available for starters, mains, desserts, and even drinks.
When choosing a main meal, you first need to narrow down from the options of; a grill, pasta, pizza, risotto, and salad! I can particularly recommend their calzones, and baby back ribs, and also vouch for the very generous size of their portions. Even though the main courses are filling, you must save room for one of the delicious desserts.
As for desserts, the sundaes and fudge cake are yummy; narrowing down the choice of dessert to just one proved very difficult. There is also a fun range of soft drinks which isn’t always the case at similar restaurants, and the variations of lemonade (passion fruit, raspberry…) are certainly worth a try.
Staff here are friendly, and the whole visit was enjoyable. Even if there is a wait for a table, there’s a pleasant waiting area with comfy chairs by the window. One of the best things about Wildwood restaurants is their vouchers and offers. Check them out online, but my favourite is 50% off your food bill (look out for eligible days and locations) which can be downloaded as a voucher from their website, and means you can have a full meal for £10-15, which is amazing.
Wildwood is a fun restaurant to go with a group, as its size allows for larger numbers of people, but is also lovely for a quiet meal with one or two people.
Best: amazing offers mean you get great value for money.
Worst: you need plenty of time to look through the menu, due to its length! (Great options to choose from).
