If excellent coffee is your thing, 200 Degrees is a must. Boasting locally roasted coffee, made from high quality beans, this coffee shop takes pride in the quality and execution of each cup of coffee.

With peace of mind that the quality coffee has an ethical background, you can relax in the chilled-out environment and look forward to your coffee arriving complete with Instagrammable latte art. You should bear in mind, though, that if you are not a committed coffee connoisseur, then this might be a little stronger than what you are used to – but certainly a taste worth adjusting to!
Not forgetting the rest of what this café has to offer; on entry you are greeted with an array of cakes and a selection of sandwiches which fill the counter. 200 Degrees does well as a more unique and high quality version of your standard chain coffee shop, and often for a lower price too!
200 Degrees has a perfectly central location, but also feels secluded, and its slightly darkened interior furnished with rustic wooden tables gives it an element of cosiness which continues all year round.
With large and small tables, and plenty to choose from, this is a great environment for spreading out to work alone or in a group, as well as a good atmosphere for a casual date or catch up with friends. Obviously unique without being pretentious, 200 Degrees provides a great space for focus, or just a relaxing place to chill out.
The flagship café is just off of Nottingham’s Market Square, and there are two additional locations in Carrington Street, Nottingham and Colmore Row, Birmingham.
Best: coffee quality and rustic interior.
Worst: watch out for the strong coffee flavour!
